ARCA Testing Day 3 December 20, 2009

We seem to be on an extended break at the moment, seems a bit early for lunch, but that may be where the teams have shuffled off to. At the moment the official scoring looks like this Danica has the 88A backup car currently in 10th position, with a top speed of 180.238, the primary 88 car is in 19th with a speed of 179.797. She has done 16 laps in the 88A and 22 in the 88.

Milka Duno is still having a very strong showing this weekend, right now she is placing 15th, in the #90 Braun Racing car. In just 8 laps today her top speed is 179.702.

I received an update from Leilani Munter earlier today which she said they had a bad tire rub in the 59 car, and the engineers would have her car in the garage until after lunch. She currently sits in 32nd position with a top speed of 177.873.

The top 6 is again dominated by Venturini Motorsports, with thier cars, driven by Mikey Kile, Alli Owens and Steve Arpin, occupying the 2nd, 4th, and 6th positions respectively. In the top position at this point is Rob Brent in the 36A from JAM Motorsports with a top speed of 182.741.

Seems as if Venturini cars have the same technical advantages in ARCA that we seem with Ganassi and Penske in IndyCar; ▶ Reply to This
