Just a quick note on this weekend's car for the Nationwide race, it's the same car she drove to 9th at Bristol, 11th at Charlotte a few weeks ago, a top 15 finish at Iowa in the second race, a top 15 at Loudon and the second Richmond race, so it's a good car and this is a strong track for her.....looking forward to seeing a top 10 finish.

This is why I'm such a big fan of Danica's...  She is honest with her thoughts and she doesn't back down even when it would be easier.  I love that the only thing she would change about Kansas is to better execution of her take-out attempt:

Doesn't the history of this car seem a bit strange?  Seems like a lot of races on this chassis and the variety of tracks it has been used on seems unusual.

I agree Becky.  I love that Danica didn't back down.  She just needs to figure out how to turn other cars without wrecking her own car.  It's the only way to make sure the other drivers stay out of her way.

The history of the car isn't that strange when you find one you like and seems to do well for you. Case in point, the car Jimmie Johnson had at Indy this year was the same car he won at Dover with.

Gotcha...just seemed weird to me.  Obviously, they aren't building new cars at this point of the year since they are switching to the Camaro in 2013 but it seems like a lot of miles on the chassis.  We'll see how it goes..hopefully it is fast. :)

I know a lot of Ryan Newman fans don't like Tony Gibson (making this move a win-win for everyone). But I like his enthusiasm in taking on working with Danica.  It will be fun to watch how the relationship evolves over the next year.  :)

Danica is 34th in 1st Sprint Cup practice at Texas Motor Speedway with the speed of 184.351

How about that, Danica just beat Ryan Newman in qualifying

Tony Gibson sounds like a good fit, a good guy, and my kind of man.  I love that sidebar in which he backs up her intent in trying to wreck Cassill and agrees that the important thing for her to do is learn how to wreck guys who deserve it without wrecking herself.  And I like that photo of the determined little Gibson girl (if you're familiar with the Gibson girl thing).
