At 8:01pm on September 27, 2008, Ronnie said…: Yeah, it's pretty bad down here, especially in the southern part of Houston and down by Galveston. We were lucky and we didn't really have any damage and we were only without power for a couple of days. My brother was without power for 10 days. He had a generator to run his refrigerator and a few other things. So that was good.

Other people weren't so lucky. There are still tons of people without power around town. There are a lot of traffic lights still out around here. It is slowly but surely getting all put back together. I just feel bad for all of the people that had their houses totally wiped out by the storm surge down the Galveston. Just the other day let people into Galveston to see their homes, or what was left of them.

I'm sure everything will be back to normal soon. Hopefully, anyway!

It was a very bad storm. There was alot of boats on the road.Some of those that was hit hardest looks like it was wipe of the map.
