TEXAS RACE

Judging from everyone's posting, I am glad I was not there or get to see what went on. But, like a computer program, get some smart people together and you can get rid of the glitches no matter how big they are. GO DANICA!!!

INDY/NASCAR RACE WEEKEND

While I was in Indy last week for the Indy 500 an interesting discussion developed with other people involving racing. The topic involved possibly having a race or two maybe at Texas, Las Vegas, Kentucky or another 1.5 mile track where you would have both series at the same track during the same weekend. The weekend might look like this: the truck race on Thursday night, Nationwide race on Friday night, Indy Lights race and IndyCar race on Saturday afternoon/night and the Sprint Cup race on…

ChicagoLand 2011

I noticed on the NASCAR//Nationwide site there is no information on the quals. Either I am not looking in the right place or its not there. Anyone with info Please post.

Also, with the recent problems at Indy with qualifying and in her words depressing performance ( I was there thought D was awesome) if Danica has a top 5 finish tomorrow night or even a win I think it will be a death sentence for the Indy // Danica Era. Motegi - Another Twisty

Just read the race at Motegi is on, but will be run as a road course vice the oval. I'm sure Danica is disappointed, another of her great tracks down the tubes and replaced by a boring road course. Jeez. I personally hope she goes to NNS full time next year. At least she has a chance to be competitive there on the tracks which are mostly 1.5 mile ovals and we get the benefit of watching some practice and all qualifying as well as the races with better coverage.
