The Official Danica Patrick Fan Site
Bleacherreport.com quotes GoDaddy’s CEO Bob Parsons concerning Danica going to NASCAR: ‘She hasn’t told me she will, but I believe she will and we’ll be ready. Here’s the fact: She loves NASCAR, it’s much more exciting than Indy Car, with all due respect, and the TV audience for NASCAR is off the hook’.
Somebody ought to explain to Mr. Rudnansky and bleacherreport.com that racing is a BUSINESS.
Danica has one of the best business heads in the racing BUSINESS.
‘Gain more respect from fans?’ Her looks, talent, pizzazz, and panache are part of the chemistry that has garnered her millions of fans around the world. If Danica perceived that her extremely successful business relationship with CEO Bob Parsons at GoDaddy.com and her ads were tarnishing her image she would make changes, ‘right now!’
I haven’t noticed that the tiny lady is very shy when somebody tries to push her around.
To tell the truth, her ads are edgy. I like edgy. Her ads are the only ones I watch during IRL and NASCAR races. She exudes class with just enough playful foxiness and off-the-wall humor to keep me wondering what she’s gonna do next.
Her style, folks, sells products. And, that defines the racing business. I got amused when Bob Parsons was quoted as saying, ‘We’re not exactly paying her minimum wage’.
To paraphrase Mr. Parsons: Danica, Bob Parsons, GoDaddy, and NASCAR are all ‘off the hook!’
That’s a good thing.
Has anyone else besides me noticed that GoDaddy.com is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona (Phoenix Metro) and Danica lives in the Phoenix Metro Area, too? Just sayin'...
